Stážista.sk is an innovative career portal for university students in Slovakia.

• We connect ambitious students who understand the value of practical experience with employers who recognize that working with students is an investment in the future.
• We are building a community of interns – students with practical experience who are ready to face the challenges of the future job market.
• We are creating a platform for the champions of the Slovak graduate job market – Slovak and international employers who actively engage with young talent.
• We support students in building their careers in Slovakia so that after studying or completing an internship abroad, they are eager to return and help shape a better future for our country.

The Stážista.sk program is part of the Workspace Europe Network leading key student career development initiatives in Slovakia. For more than 10 years, we have been focusing on preparing university students for professional practice at the European level, improving the employability of graduates, supporting international student internship mobility within the EU Erasmus+ program, and connecting universities with the world of employers.

The Workspace Europe Network consists of the following programs:

• Stážista.sk career portal for univerity students in Slovakia
• Workspace Europe consortium of 15 Slovak universities dedicated to supporting internships of Slovak students and graduates abroad through the EU Erasmus+ programme. (workspaceeurope.sk)
• Placement Slovakia program focused on internships and career opportunities in Slovakia for students and graduates from abroad. (placementslovakia.com)

Each year, we place hundreds of university students in professional internships with companies and organizations in Slovakia and EU countries. We organize events, lectures, seminars, and workshops at universities with the goal of improving the readiness and employability of graduates for the job market at an international level.

We have built an extensive network of partner universities and employers in Slovakia and abroad, aiming to provide comprehensive support to both sides and help them successfully meet the challenges of today’s job market across the European workspace.

We want to assign true value to the word “internship” in Slovakia, recognizing its full potential and impact for universities, students, and employers within our society.

We believe that thanks to this program, there will be more and more “interns” at Slovak universities, and a graduate’s CV without relevant experience will become a thing of the past.
